****************** Silver's Side

I walk out the hospital room feeling that Mephiles died because of me. I peered over to see the nurses cleaning out his room, disposing the body. I ask myself "What now? What do I do without him?" Shadow comes to my side in smpathy and begs for forgiveness. I nod my head and pull his hand off my arm. "Why.....why him....why this way?" I mummer to myself. I cover my eyes and begin to cry. But something strange happened when I was crying. No tears were coming out! I cried out all my tears. Blaze comes next to me trying to make me feel better. I brush her off and walk into a bar. "One shot of whisky please." I ask the bartender. He looks at me with a disgusted grin that smelled of rotten fish. He hands me a shot and I gulp it down as though it was nothing.

****************** Shadow's Side

I wake up, Silver's gone and it is pitch-black in my room. The bed next to me where Mephiles use to lay was empty and I had a shiver run down my back. I position myself into a more comfortable way and flip on the television. There on the screen is a couple sitting on the balcony and the man says to the girl that she deserves everything. Even the moon, so he lassoed it and brought it closer for her to see. Then when that part was over a sharp pain came across my chest, but from the inside. My heart....it began to hurt....it started to hurt a lot! I press the button trying to call the doctor but no one was in the hospital! I cried out as loud as I could for someone......Silver! Then a person appeared from the doorway. Silver! Silver walks closer to the side of my bed and kisses my cheek trying to see what was wrong with my chest. "It's just a little soreness that kicked in." Silver says in a low voice. I sniff the air and I can smell alochol! "Silver....were you drinking?" I ask him holding his hand. Silver shifts his head and topples over me! "Silver what are you doing?" I ask him pushing him away as he was trying to remove my covers. "I want you, not fake-ass Mephiles!" Silver screams to me. I look into his eyes and know he still had feelings for him and I push him off me. Silver then falls to the floor and goes to sleep. I giggle and arise from my bed. "You look so cute when you're silly." I whisper to him even though he couldn't hear me. I kiss him and put him on the bed with me and we both slip off to sleep. Snuggled in each others embrace. I think the sore in my chest was my heart telling me I was in love!
